RJ Almond was diagnosed with a Mixed Germ Cell Tumor in the pineal region of his brain on 1/27/2020. At the time of diagnosis, RJ suffered from hydrocephalus, a buildup of cerebral spinal fluid on the brain. To alleviate the hydrocephalus, a shunt was surgically placed in his brain. He will undergo a series of treatments over the next months. They will know the specific plan in the coming days.
