Let's Make Rich Emory's Liver Transplant Happen!

We are the Emory's and want to thank our old and new friends for your unconditional love and support as we  continue our quest. We have traveled across the USA in search of life saving potential surgeries and/or treatments.  Because of your incredible  kindness and our absolute fight to never quit, we've come further than anyone thought was possible. 

We recently found out that Rich is a candidate for a Living Liver Donor Transplant. What this means is that the right donor will donate a  portion of his/her liver.......here's the good part. YOUR LIVER GROWS BACK TO FULL SIZE IN A MATTER OF A FEW MONTHS. 

Transplant will take place at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. Our incredible team is led by Dr. Roberto Hernandez-Alejandro.

Like anything worthwhile, nothing comes easy or easily affordable in the medical field. Our insurance covers all Medical Expenses for the donor, but we still need to make sure both Rich and the donor are taken care of before, during and after. That includes living/travel expenses, transportation, food, etc as well as any and all unforseen expenses.

Because of the urgency and window of opportunity we are not in a position to be hesitant or allow our pride to get in the way of asking for help in a dire moment of need.  We need that sliver of a liver and the support for Rich and our hopefully soon to be found donor.

Financial contributions are of course equally important because we can't do one without the other.
