<div>Bob and I first met Zach standing in the initial meeting for Atacama 2022.  From that moment on, we had a forged friendship that has spanned 4 RacingThePlanet races.  With each race it has been like reconnecting with family to see his smile, and of course that beard and tattoos!  Zach has the most gentle and pleasant personality, and is an instant friend with all people he meets.  Those of you who have come to know him from racing, I am sure will agree whole-heartedly.

<div>For those that do not know, Zach was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and will be undergoing surgery to remove and biopsy the mass on Monday June 23rd.  When I heard the news and had conversations with him, I felt at a loss to know how I could help.  At a minimum, setting up a group to support him emotionally, spiritually and of course help offset some of the medical costs seems the minimum that I (and we as a group) could do to show our eternal support.  Hence the birth of this GoFundMe page.
