Our dear friend Ruth passed away Tuesday night after a challenging months-long battle with stomach cancer. Her strength, love and composure during this time were an inspiration to those who knew her. She was in good medical care and fought through multiple treatments, but she just could not beat this horrible disease. Ruth has been surrounded with the love and warmth of her amazing family and supported by close friends and the greater community of Santa Barbara.
Many of you have asked how you can help support Ruth and her family during this time. If you are so inclined to help financially, you may donate here and be assured that 100% of the funds raised will go directly to her family. We are forever grateful for your support and anything you are able to contribute in her honor.

Whether or not you knew Ruth personally, she has been instrumental in our life in Santa Barbara. Ruth Ramirez is a radiant 41-year-old woman from Goleta who was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer last winter. A loving wife, mother of three, daughter, sister and friend to countless people, she's also been the caretaker of our own children ages 8, 7 and 3 for almost four years. As you can imagine, she has meant the world to our family. She has a tremendously kind, warm and giving spirit, cherished by all of those who love and care for her.
