<div><strong>Shanna and Josh are well known to the community with lots of friends that they really need to rally around them to help right now.</strong> So, everyone knows that Shanna has struggled with health issues for many, many years, with it recently getting much worse to the point it is difficult for her to get out of bed most days. She struggles with severe joint pain along with extreme fatigue that is unable to be treated, along with consistent sickness from her weakened immune system. She has seen lots of doctors with little end in sight. She has found a new doctor that is shedding some hope on getting some answers. That doctor has run some tests and she was diagnosed with extra-articular arthritis, which means it is no longer in her joints but is now attacking her whole body; systemic lupus erythematosus; Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism; significant markers called antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, which affects the vascular system. She has to be evaluated for primary biliary cholangitis, which affects the liver. There are significant markers for polymyositis/dermatomyositis. There are other possible diagnoses that she will hopefully get more answers to when she is seen at her appointment at the Cleveland Clinic in July.

<div>She was out of work for 5 years and tried to fight for disability. She lost that battle, unfortunately, which is absolutely unbelievable. She did find a job that she could manage to work 25 hours each week, which really helped them get by, but she has not been able to even do that for some time now. <strong>With these diagnoses, she and her family are struggling with their day-to-day lives and could really use some support from the community.</strong> With all of the difficulties they are going through, they have fallen behind with all their bills along with incurring many more with travel back and forth to Cleveland to be seen by the specialists. Shanna and Josh would give the shirt off their backs, still not having anything to give right now. I am asking for everyone to pitch in and let’s try to help them survive this and lessen the burden of money. Anything will help them. Please show them some love.
