<div>My sister Rachel is currently facing a health scare that has left us with more questions than answers. A mass was recently discovered on the left side of her neck, nestled around her jaw and under her ear. It’s not entirely unfamiliar territory for our family, unfortunately, and while the doctors are doing everything they can, we’re still in the thick of appointments, scans, lab work, and specialist consultations. A surgery is currently soft booked for May 8th to remove the tumor, but as you can imagine, the time between now and then is filled with worry, waiting, and so many unknowns.

<div>Through it all, Rachel has remained her incredible self—kind, generous, and strong in a way that inspires everyone around her. If you know her, you know that she has a heart that shows up for others without hesitation. Whether it’s through her creativity, her unwavering loyalty, or the way she lights up a room with her laugh, Rachel makes the world around her brighter (especially when she’s rocking the hot pink hair).

<div>She shares her life with her loving husband Mike, who’s been by her side through every moment of this, and their sweet dog Hank, who’s Rachel’s loyal shadow and emotional support on four legs. She is fortunate enough to have both Mike’s family, and our parents nearby for love and support and extra care.

<div>We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial stress that comes with navigating such an uncertain and overwhelming health journey—things like time off work, travel to and from medical appointments, surgery costs, and follow-up care. Our hope is that Rachel and Mike can focus on her health and healing without the added burden of worrying about bills.
