<div>I am Elle Gallo.  Our friend Michelle Sawyer Mogè needs our help. As you surely know, Michelle has endlessly given of herself, not only to her wonderful family and all of her friends, but to her community:

<div>Michelle started the Feminist Brunch Club, which began as an idea to bring women+ together in a safe, supportive, inclusive and empowering environment (most often her home!) with a desire to help us all become stronger and more powerful through connection and community. Her vision grew an incredible movement of powerful NH women+ . So many of us have formed friendships and meaningful collaborations that never would have been if it weren’t for Michelle’s care.

<div>She's been an integral part of the Derry Democratic Committee since 2018, opening her heart and home countless times to host their Holiday parties and Summer Social Events. Her influence and service to the Dems is immeasurable.

<div>She’s sacrificed not only family time but also comfort in anonymity, bravely stepping forward in a hostile environment to run for State Representative 3 times, subjecting herself to egregious and hateful attacks from NH right wing radicals. Michelle put herself out even further and ran for Derry Town Council when the only candidates were, well, the bad guys, AND WON! She has risen to meet the position she was elected to and in September was voted “Derry’s Favorite Politician”!  The dial has moved in this rabid red town toward blue in large part because of Michelle's dedication and fierce determination to protect the constitution, the working class and marginalized peoples .

<div>5 days before Christmas, Michelle slipped on ice and shattered the bones in her dominant hand. She needs surgery-and pins and titanium to reset it. At work, one of Michelle’s primary tasks is typing, so she has been out of work since Dec 20 and Doctors say she will likely have a 3 month recovery period.  Surgery is scheduled for January 27.

<li>When Michelle doesn’t work she doesn’t get paid, and

<li>The overall cost with surgery and lost income will be between $15,000-20,000.
