Kimberly and Jordan welcomed their precious son on 5/28/25 via emergency c-section. Greyson spent 20 days in the NICU before being able to go home. After Greyson finally came home, Kimberly had to have half of her carpal tunnel surgery. Not much longer after that, Kimberly started experiencing tingling and numbness in her extremities, along with severe pain in her neck. She was going to the chiropractor and getting massages to help alleviate the pain, which she thought was coming from a pinched nerve. She went into her second carpal tunnel surgery and was still experiencing pain, numbness, and tingling in her hands, arms, and down to her legs. She went into the ER to try to get answers, to no avail. Finally, she was able to get an MRI on her cervical spine on 9/4/2025. The following day, 9/5/2025, the neurologist called Kimberly to advise her to get admitted into the hospital immediately as she had swelling in her cervical spinal cord and they needed her to go in immediately to have further testing done.

Once she was admitted into the hospital, they ordered a full spine MRI. After those results came back, the neurologist seems to believe Kimberly has Transverse Myelitis, which is inflammation in the spinal cord that can cause long-term disability depending on how quickly it’s diagnosed and the severity of it. Luckily, this was found early and now Kimberly has been on steroid infusion, which takes one hour daily to combat TM.

On 9/7/2025, the neurologist said there are swollen lymph nodes in her chest and they needed to do a CT to get a better grasp of what is happening. The CT did show swollen lymph nodes, and the doctors want to do a biopsy of the lymph nodes to understand better what exactly is going on.

On 9/8, Kimberly is scheduled for a biopsy. She will be put under, an ultrasound placed down her throat to locate the lymph nodes, then a needle inserted to extract fluid from the lymph nodes. They are thinking it’s something called Sarcoidosis, inflammation of tiny cells generally in the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes, and skin.

As most of us know and read this far, you can see that Kimberly has had quite the unexpected few months since giving birth. She went back to work 2 months after the birth of Greyson but then took time off to do her second carpal tunnel surgery and now all these other unpleasant medical issues. Kimberly holds her pride very high and never asks for help; she will refuse until she’s blue in the face. I don’t believe she should have to walk this alone when I know many people love and care about her and her family.
