<div>After her sibling was diagnosed with gastric cancer, Kerry made the proactive decision to get an endoscopy. That decision may have saved her life. The screening led doctors to find stage 2 Gastric Cancer, and after countless appointments, biopsies, and in-depth research, she has found a trusted medical team and a clear plan for treatment.

<div>Kerry is a single mom to her incredible 10-year-old daughter, Bella. As Kerry undergoes treatment, Bella will need all the love and stability we can provide. But more than that, she deserves the chance to continue learning, creating, and having fun, and to still be a kid, even in the midst of such a difficult time. Our support can help ensure that Bella has the resources and opportunities to stay engaged in school, explore her creativity, and experience joy while her mom focuses on healing.

<div>Kerry is also a small business owner, which means every moment away from work impacts her ability to support herself and her daughter. She will need to step back significantly while undergoing her first four rounds of chemotherapy, spend weeks in the hospital after surgery receiving nutrients and teaching her body to thrive without a stomach. After that, she’ll need up to three months for at-home recovery before beginning her final four rounds of chemotherapy.
