Rally for Heidi Sue Baker

If you know Heidi Sue, then you know her kind spirit, her giving nature and the abundance of love she has for everyone in her world.  Best friend, devoted co-worker, cherished sister, dearest daughter and favorite auntie.  

So it came as a blow 3 weeks ago when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Devastating news for her and all that love and adore her.  Immediately, however, her people began to rally.  Heidi Sue has a large "village" supporting her and together we will weather the storm.  

She's young, vibrant, full of life and the prognosis is good.   But immediate medical attention is needed.  Today, April 2nd Heidi is undergoing surgery.  She will then begin a series of radiation treatments.  

Her sisters have worked hard to assess the situation from a medical and financial standpoint.  Carefully examining what impact this will have on Heidi over the next few months.

We've calculated out of pocket medical costs, lost wages, and personal expenses during the recovery.  Our goal of $10,000 will cover these costs during the 2-3 month recovery period.

Everyone's hope is that Heidi has a smooth recovery.  A key to that is peace of mind.  She is extremely worried about how this will impact her financially and we want to eliminate that concern so she is free to focus on her health.
