In July, just one month shy of her first birthday, Remi was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. This required immediate treatment to prevent it from spreading any further or causing permanent loss of her eye sight. Her young parents, along with her twin sister, Ruby, have suddenly been thrown into a difficult situation and they need our help.
The closest ocular oncologist, the only doctor qualified and equipped to treat such rare cases, is located in Phoenix, AZ, over 600 miles away from Remi's home in Utah County.
In order to receive her treatment, the Matua’s are required to fly Remi to Phoenix every 4-6 weeks for 3 years.
Let’s #Rally4Remi and help her family during this difficult time. Your donation will go directly to the cost of airfare, hotel stays, and medical bills for Remi to receive treatment.
Please support the Matua’s by making a donation and sharing this fundraiser. Any donations leftover after Remi’s treatment will be donated to cancer research. Thank you! #rally4remi
