Rally for Rachel

This Go Fund Me is for my sister Rachel (59), who suffered a severe stroke in early January 2018 that left her paralyzed on the left side. Early on, the prognosis was grim. It was feared Rachel would never regain the mobility of her left arm and leg. She is fighting every day to regain mobility. It is a slow but sure progress with physical, occupational and speech therapy eight hours a day. Rachel is working hard to regain her strength that will allow her to return home, to work, and most of all to become independent again.

She had just started working at a new school. Unfortunately she was not there long enough to accrue sick leave. She was in the hospital for 2 months. She is currently in a rehabilitation facility. We are not certain how much longer her medical insurance will last.
Rachel needs our financial help to cover medical expenses and to pay bills that have started to build up fast. She is also needing a motorized wheelchair to aid her when she is in certain areas for prolonged periods of time. The goal is to have one at work to assist her when her energy is low.

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated for her medical expenses and her living expenses while she is missing work so she can keep ahead as best as possible.
