On the 17th of August there will be a football charity match to help raise funds for MND Scotland, as well as to raise awareness for the life changing disease. 
 
Why I’m wanting to set up a match? 

Last year my uncle(David) was diagnosed with MND. However, despite this David, his friends and family has since raised over £100,000 to support those like him and also to raise awareness. 
 
What I want to achieve and how? 

I’m looking to raise as much money as possible but I think a realistic goal is £500, not a lot compared to £100k but every penny helps. I plan on doing this from collections at the match as well as asking for donations from the players to play on the pitch. 
 
The match itself will be like a normal game with the full 90mins, halftime, subs, referee and maybe even “mangers”. It will be held at Letham 7 Acres, who have kindly donated the pitch free of charge, and will kick off at 2PM. 
 
There will also be a raffle on the day so if you have anything you'd like to donate for that, get in touch!
