Let's Help Tamara's Family

Tamara Kyshenko, a refugee from Ukraine who worked at the Cornhusker Hotel in the housekeeping department died tragically while visiting her family back home.  While leaving church, she suffered fatal injuries due to icy stairs.

Tamara had worked at the hotel for over two years, alongside her mother and sister-in-law. She regularly attended English classes taught twice a week by Lincoln Literacy at the Cornhusker Hotel. Her fun-loving, bold, and beautiful presence always created a welcoming environment for everyone and made us all look forward to the classes. We grieve for her family and friends, for her coworkers, and for the Lincoln Literacy tutors who spent so much time teaching and learning from this bright and eager young lady.  Please join us in our effort to help the family as they struggle to cope with this great loss.
