My Dad, Wayne Theroux was an extraordinary man. He lived his entire life caring, providing, protecting and serving everyone who crossed his path. He served in Vietnam with honor aboard the USS Forestall and went on to do so many wonderful things, he served as a police officer in Southern Florida, and then went on to become a loving husband, and then my Adopted father, my hero, and the best grandfather I could have had for my 3 girls, who he also raised when I became ill. He had so many dreams and things he loved, like Golf, living on the ocean, Guitar, Painting, however he always put those things on hold when his family or friends needed him. Now he needs our help. If anyone deserves a full military honor and a beautiful Memorial service its my dad, however times are tough and we had to pass on so many things he truly deserves. I am looking to raise whatever I can to help pay for the services after his Memorial mass on October 13th, he was supposed to have Bag pipes, a 21 gun salute and while he was cremated he will be given his flag, but the other services became too expensive and my mom had to cancel them. I know how much it touched him every time he heard bag pipes at a military funeral and it wouldn't be right to not have them at his. I know this is short notice but anything at all will help to add back on these services he deserves so much. It will also help pay for the costs of the funeral home services that are very high. I appreciate the time you took to hear my story, and even if you can not donate yourself if you are even able to share this with everyone you know that would help as well! Thank you and God Bless.
