Raising money for Maccoys open heart surgery medication

Hi I am raising money for a friend that I met online a few years ago from the phillipines who has a little boy called John Mark Gabriel . His nickname is Maccoy . I met his mum on a feeding page I believe when my own daughter was ill and needing help . I would have helped his mum with money for special milk for maccoy as It was very expensive in the phillipines and he needed the milk in order to gain weight to have a chance at being tested for open heart surgery

Maccoy has been waiting on open heart surgery for many years since he was a baby and had been declined a few times after travelling to Manila because he didn't pass the pre-op tests . (His arterial pressure was too high )

This week he was finally able to get his long awaited open heart surgery which is funded by a charity in Philippines. However post op medication is not covered by this charity and neither is expenses for his mother to stay with him until he is better to go home . As of today Maccoy is recovering in ICU and is still sedated he is doing well after his surgery and his mum is awaiting to be at his side

Maccoys mum has asked me for help to pay for one of his medications named Ilopost which will cost 2500 pesos .

I am trying to raise funds to cover the cost of this medication and also some funding for the medication named Bosentan which he will require for 6 months post op .

This is a genuine case and the family are quite poor . I have sent a balikbayan box of clothes and things for the children to their home before from northern ireland and intend to do so again this year.His mum always sends receipts and prescriptions to me and has always been extremely honest about her family's situation

Any help no matter how small will be of great benefit to help maccoy recieve his much needed medication for after this surgery .
