As you are probably aware now Kev aka Big Kev, Kev T has been battling with a very acute terminal cancer just in the space of three weeks, his loved ones are all focused on his care and comfort at this moment in time.

We want to express a massive thank you to all who were able to pop by on Saturday to see Kev and have a pint with him, that will never be forgotten.

Kev has to be one of the most loved, respected men of Carterton we all know.

He should be here with everyone around him, drinking his crisp cold thatchers cider whilst catching the rays in Costa-Del- Carterton pub gardens giving us all his worldly advice.

Instead he battles through this horrendous time.

Watching this family first hand go through this journey over three weeks has been truely heartbreaking. The strength the Trethowans have is beyond anything I have ever seen.

So many messages have been sent to the family offering support and asking how they can help in anyway.

We need to let them focus on their short time they have left with him.

I wanted to set up this page to support them with impending costs for when we are all ready to pay our respects to a man who deserves to be at peace and not fighting this cruel awful cancer.
