<div><strong>Helping Families Spend More Time with Their Babies.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, we are Jessica Acris and Jason Green, and we are writing this with broken hearts but also with a purpose—to honor our son, Oliver Lee Green, and to help other families who may one day experience the unimaginable loss we have just gone through.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On February 18, 2025, we went for our final check-up at 39 weeks of pregnancy. Everything had been perfect throughout the pregnancy, and we were just days away from meeting our baby boy, who was due on February 21, 2025. But in an instant, our world shattered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During that appointment, the midwife was unable to find Oliver’s heartbeat. We were told that our precious boy was gone. There are no words to describe the pain of hearing those words, of realizing that the baby we had loved and waited for would never take his first breath.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were given medication to start the process of labor, and 48 hours later, we were admitted to the hospital. After hours of physical and emotional pain, on February 20, 2025, at 11:18 PM, we met our beautiful son, Oliver Lee Green. He was perfect. He looked exacly like his hyper real scan. He looked so peaceful, as if he were just sleeping.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For a few short moments, we were able to hold him, love him, and cherish him. Our parents got to meet their grandson. But far too soon, Oliver was taken away. Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA) does not have a cold cot, meaning we only had a small window of time with him before he had to be moved to the mortuary.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What is a Cold Cot, and Why Does It Matter?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A cold cot, also known as a cuddle cot, is a special cooling device that helps to preserve a baby’s body after stillbirth. It allows grieving parents to spend more time with their child—time that means everything when those are the only moments you will ever have together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With a cold cot, we could have had more time with Oliver. We could have dressed him, held him longer and taken more photos. These moments are priceless for parents who have to say goodbye far too soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our Mission – Raising Funds for a Cold Cot &amp; More</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In memory of Oliver, we are raising funds to donate at least one cold cot to the Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA), ensuring that no other family in Gibraltar has to experience the heartbreak of losing their child without the time to properly say goodbye.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>---
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>If we exceed our goal, additional funds will go towards:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Other support items for grieving families, such as memory boxes or comfort packs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A more comfortable space for partners, as Jason only had a chair to sit on for hours while supporting Jess through labor—a small change that could make a big difference for parents in this situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is not just for Oliver—it’s for every family who will ever face this heartbreaking loss. We want to give them the time we never got with our son.
</div>

<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>

<div>Ayudando a las Familias a Pasar Más Tiempo con Sus Bebés
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Por unos breves momentos, pudimos sostenerlo, amarlo y atesorarlo.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nuestra Misión – Recaudación de Fondos para una Cuna Fría y Más
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>---
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cómo Puedes Ayudar
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />

<div>Con amor y gratitud,
</div>
