RAISING MALAWI AGAIN AFTER CYCLONE FREDDY

Tax deductible
The Association of Malawians in Scotland (AMS) is greatly distressed by the destruction that Cyclone Freddy has caused in Malawi. The whole of the Southern Region has suffered great loss of life, property and crops, and many people have been displaced. AMS is also saddened to see that many families/households have been destroyed, for example, children have been made orphans, many women have become widows and husbands have lost their wives and children. Whole livelihoods and infrastructure have been decimated and people left helpless.

AMS is therefore appealing to communities and relevant organizations all over the world to help us restore hope to the people of Malawi and help them to build back better. We aim to raise funds that will be channeled towards building homes and schools as well as providing essential household items and much-needed basic needs such as food to people in such worst affected areas in the South of Malawi as the Lower Shire.

Every donation will be greatly appreciated, which will go towards restoring hope to the people of Malawi suffering from the devastating effects of the cyclone, and rebuilding their lives and the affected areas.
