Raising Love for Linda

Donation protected
We have a wonderful friend, Linda Keller. Like Kristen Wiig with a touch of Tina Fey, she brings humor and fun everywhere she goes.

This January, Linda came home from the Rose Bowl Parade feeling pretty lousy. Linda was there for her job. She is a sign language interpreter and was travelling with a high school marching band.

Toward the end of the trip Linda contracted a virus. After the illness had run its course she found that she was still exhausted and unable to to return to work. Lab tests were performed, but before a definitive diagnosis could be made Linda was rushed to the ER where it was discovered that she had pneumonia and was in sepsis. Further testing revealed that one of her heart valves had been damaged and would need to be replaced immediately due to the bacterial damage. It was a close call for Linda.

Linda's sons and daughter-in-law have been constantly by her side through this unexpected crisis. Her friends and family, both near and far, have prayed, texted and held faith that she once again prove to be the overcomer everyone knows her to be. This will be a long journey back to a place of health and it will require a great deal of resources.

So, while Linda concentrates on healing and regaining her strength, her friends and loved ones would like to help ease the burden that the long road to recovery takes on ones finances. Let's help Linda in this manner so that she might be free to focus on the hard work of healing.

Linda Keller is perhaps the most amazing person I have ever known. She is kind to everyone and always ready to lend a hand, a dollar, a cup of sugar...you name it. Linda came into the world facing adversity, yet it was the refiner's fire that caused her to come forth stronger and more resilient. Having known Linda since 5th grade, I have watched her endure more than her fair share of pain and heartache, as well as obtain stunning victories.

With deepest gratitiude!

This fund has been set up by the friends of Linda Keller to provide a conduit to help her with co-pays and other expenses.

This is a lady whose job is to help deaf children get through life. Linda volunteers at the local senior center and at her church. The photo was taken in the Dominican Reepublic, where she spent a week of her own time teaching deaf children. Linda gives herself to the world, and now we are asking the world to give a little back to her.

We are cheering you on Linda!

Faith, Hope and Love!
- The Friends of Linda Keller

P.S. Hi, I am Chris Bailey. This page was set up by a coalition of friends to support our Linda. We wrote the story together. I was asked to set up the campaign by our friends and with the permission of her family. While I live in Boise, ID now, I have known Linda since the 6th grade, when we met at Jonata Elementary. That was over 40 years ago. I consider Linda my best friend, although I may just be like in the top 10 of hers. The funds we are raising are to help Linda pay for her medical expenses that this tragic episode has created. The funds will be sent directly to her now that she is home and recovering. Linda still has a very long road ahead of her but she will do just great. On behalf of her friends and family, I humbly thank you for your support.

With Peace and Love,

Chris
