Raising funds to manufacture NHS facemasks

Thank you so much for the support so far! Due to the incredible amount of support we have raised the amount we are going for from £3,000 to £5,000 so we can produce even more masks. Again this is not a business venture we are donating all of our time and are own funds, this is literally paying for more materials to produce more masks to give to the NHS and health working community for free.
We are a design and manufacturing business based in Brighton East Sussex.
We are in the process of buying in materials to produce a face mask in bulk for the NHS to help the fight against the coronavirus COVID19. We have CNC capabilities so should be able to produce quite a lot.
We are in direct contact with a purchasing manager from our local NHS trust who has delivered a face shield to us and briefed us in on the overall design needs.
They will also help us distribute the masks across the network.
Our plan is to manufacture all of the components and then distribute them to schools and other organisations still working that can help put them together ready for delivery.

We are already tooling up to produce 1500 masks, After this we will assess the situation, But hope to double if not triple this number depending on the fundraising and network we can build for constructing the components.
