<div>With this weight loss has come a new challenge: significant excess skin. While I’m deeply proud of the progress I’ve made, the remaining skin is causing painful sores and recurring infections that affect my daily comfort and mobility.

<div>Some of the necessary surgery to remove this skin is covered by OHIP here in Ontario, but not all of it. The uncovered portion is more than I can manage on my own.
