I will be undertaking my honours year studying the little forest bat to see how many little forest bats call the big forest of Smiths Lake home. I will be using radio-trackers to determine foraging habits and foraging range.

<div>We have no baseline data for these little Microbats so we don’t know how they are being impacted by the changing climate. It is important to gather this baseline data for environmental management purposes.
