Deaf young people in the community are experiencing significant loneliness and isolation and the Covid-19 impact is having a serious effect on their well being.
Deaf World is a registered charity (1127458) that works to improve the lives of Deaf young people aged between 11 and 25 across the West Midlands, UK. We work to offer life changing opportunities as well as a programme of social and educational activities. Our activities help to prevent the harmful effects of loneliness, isolation and mental health.
Since the pandemic lockdown started there has been a significant impact on the delivery of our services to Deaf young people in our area. Deaf World staff and volunteers continue to maintain contact via the social media for support, regular catch ups and fun activities. We are available at their greatest time of need at a very difficult and challenging time for all.
However in order to continue Deaf World needs your help!
