Raising Beans for Gheens

Please help a heartbroken Alaska family
Our beloved Moki Gheen is gone.
The husband, father, Alaska fisherman extraordinaire died unexpectedly at home on May 8. Moki, a lifelong Alaskan, the oldest of 5 brothers, was both a commercial fisherman and a fly fisherman, a coffee-lover and a bike geek. He loved to read, and one could always count on him to have a strong opinion about anything. He was our friend.

He was first and foremost a dedicated father and husband. He and his wife had been married 16 years. He also leaves behind their teenage son. The two of them were inseparable, spending their time fly fishing, camping, and building bikes together.

His family and friends deeply miss him. His son can’t imagine life without his dad. We are helping the family with the immediate burdens of transitioning to life without husband and father. Please contribute to support his son and wife through this time.
