"Raise the Roof" for the Wenstrands

Craig and Tara Wenstrand are two of the most giving people I know.  They are always the first to help when someone is in need.  Countless times they have been there to clean up storm damage, cut down tree, rescue people stranded with a broken down car, dig through the rubble of a burned home trying to find a few salvageable memories.  They have sat in hospital rooms with friends, grocery shopped, painted, plowed driveways and watched dogs.  It doesn’t matter how dirty the job is or how hard it is the Wenstrands are always ready to lend a helping hand just because.  I can’t count how many people I personally know that they have help over the years I have known them let alone all the others I don’t know about.

 

Now the Wenstrands need our help!  They recently found out that over half of the trusses in their home need to be replaced immediately.  Their roof including all the trusses over their living room, kitchen and dining room will need removed and replaced.  They will need to move out of their home while the roof is removed and rebuilt. As you can imagine this will not be a cheap job. Even with sweat labor it estimated to cost $20,000 and it must be done before the first snow fall.

 I know that we all have things in life happen that we need to deal with, but this time I am asking that all of you out there who have ever been touched by the generosity of the Wenstrand show them the same generosity they have shown you.
