Raise the Roof for the Cerrone's

Thank you for taking a moment to consider donating.
Bernard Cerrone and his family received the devastating news that he had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in March of this year. I found this out over a lovely brunch with Zina, his wife and LouAnn Lucier. I was heartbroken for her. It hit hard knowing her husband would die in 2 or 3 years. I know this because my grandmother suffered from the same disease, which is why I am a nurse today.
Bernard has had to quit his job due to losing movement in his arms. Zina has had to pick up and work to care for the family. Being educated but not having worked due to raising her children and home-schooling them over the years, you can imagine this was no easy task.
Like her name, though, she is a warrior. But even a warrior needs a hand.
The family needs help with their roof. It was damaged and repaired but ultimately now needs to be replaced.
