Raise the Flag for Plains Soccer

I am setting up this GoFundMe to help put a flagpole on the Pleasant Plains High School soccer field as my Eagle Scout project. Currently, the field has no flag and all spectators and players have to look around the bleachers to the flag on the football field, and often directly into the sun, while the national anthem is playing.  My flagpole will eliminate problems and make the American flag more visible from the field. All donations will be used to purchase a flagpole and the materials needed to set it up, as well as supplies for landscaping.

Based on my research (visits to Flag World, Lowes, Chapman Stone, Menards, and calls to contractors) the approximate costs for the project are as follows:
     $1,450 -------------------- 25' flag pole and flag 
     $150 ---------------------- concrete
     $50 ------------------------ landscape rocks
     $35------------------------- landscape border
     $55--------------------------sand
     $10--------------------------landscape fabric

The planning and labor for the project will be provided by me with the help of my fellow scouts and my family.

The funds for this project are needed by or before Spring of 2018, since that is when I plan on putting up the pole.
