Raise money for mental health charities in Belfast

A message from QUB Love,

Shortly after the beginning of QUB Love last October, we had a number of students, both old and new, anonymously open up about their mental health on the page, be it about their struggles with a new way of life or loneliness. At the same time, many students gave comfort to those that had opened up, sharing similar experiences and providing reassurance.

Overnight, QUB Love went from memes and love confessions to a hub for those to open up about their struggles. However, with the ongoing situation, we have seen yet again, many students opening up about how they are struggling during the lockdown, with the pressure of university, trying to adapt to a new way of learning and of course loneliness.

At QUB Love, we want to help with this by asking you for two things. Firstly, for those who are struggling, do not be afraid to open up about these struggles on the page, it is full of people who are willing to listen and help you. Secondly, for those that want to help out, we ask you to consider donating to the JustGiving page we have just launched. Where all donations will go towards mental health services here in Belfast, as part of the mental health fundraiser we are launching today.
