I've been associated with this charity in Norden,near Rochdale for well over fifty years,iI'm now 73 years of age,in one way or another,and have helped to fundraise over the years to help support their valuable conservation work,on the site near Rochdale and at their reserves and affiliated wildlife centres. I have been taking part in the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Event now for thirty four years,riding in thirty four consecutive events.I'm hoping to make this year's event on July 13th my 35th consecutive ride.

When the event was cancelled due to the so called pandemic,I did it alone,taking a few scenice detours(a more romantic way of saying I took a wrong turn or two en route!)

The distance I hope to cover,again,is 6o miles plus the ride to the start in Manchester and home from Manchester,probably in excess of eighty miles in total.Any support you can give will go directly to the charity,not to me,and will make all the difference to the wildlife they can help.I thank you in advance for your help.
