<div>Fundraising for a very special Royal Marine veteran celebrating a very special birthday.

<div>As you all may be aware, very shortly centenarian WWII veteran RM John Eskdale who served in 30 Commando AU will be celebrating his 102nd birthday: What a truly remarkable milestone for an extraordinary gentleman!

<div>It therefore seems only fitting and entirely appropriate to mark his special day with his tipple of choice, and the aim of this collection is to gift him bottle of rum, a decanter and some matching glasses or maybe even a bronze sculpture, item ref: A5Z (all to be purchased from the RM Charity Shop).

<div>If we are fortunate enough to raise more than our target, any additional funds will go to the Royal Marines Charity.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are very well aware that times are hard, there are many equally commendable causes, and we haven’t given you much notice.
</div>

<div>But … all of you that have heard of, know and have had the very special privilege and pleasure of meeting John you will appreciate what kind of a man he is, and the difference a relatively modest gift will make to him.
