Raise enough money to file a patent

Hi my name is Jarrod and I am a maintence man for a small school. A safety issue was brought to my attention a little while back, when I couldn't find any product on the market to fix the issue I designed and 3d printed a part to make this problem safer but I would like to take this idea to a company that does injected rubber molding to make it even safer. I have looked into it and this issue is at many other schools in the area and I'm sure all over the country. I know I am being vague with this description but in this day and age you can never be to careful with an idea/working model without a patent. I have been trying to raise the money other ways but every time I get a little bit saved life happens and it is gone and I am back to square one. This isn't a fund me for any crisis or medical emergency, it is an attempt to gain a safer school enviroment for our children and financial security for my family.
