Rainy Season Local Support Fund

Every year in Costa Rica, we experience the rainy season. We can get rain so heavy and so quickly that flash flooding can happen very easily. So many local Costa Ricans lose their houses and their things. They can't afford to move or take precautions to protect their homes and possessions.
Families and children lose EVERYTHING! Their houses are under 2 feet of water more or less. It is devasting. I have supported and helped in the past, but this year I can't donate as much as I would like due to my change is jobs.
Isa my neighbor and a best friend is currently housing a family of 5 in her second bedroom. She borrowed $40 from me to help feed the family for the next couple of days. There are many many others in the area that need support that can't be provided for currently.
This is the first few days of the rain and we have 2-3 weeks left. If you could please help support some of the local families with any size donation that would be greatly appreciated.
The families here appreciate the support in more ways than one. They are grateful, happy, and amazed. I have had the first-hand experience with seeing how grateful and loved the families feel.
I will be giving the money to two local places that will make sure the money goes directly to the families. The Beach Community Church and Cepia. I know they are reputable and the money goes directly towards food and necessities for the families.
