'Rainy Days' BSU Student Short Film
Donation protected
'Rainy Days' is a romantic tragedy about a young woman named Reyna Brooks who suffers from Ombrophobia (a phobia of rain), who meets a quirky barista named Sera Taylor. They are fast friends and even quicker lovers, Sera soon helps Reyna begin to overcome her fear through a series of exposure experiences. Their time together is amazing but short lived when Sera's life is taken in a freak accident. The final scene depicts Reyna giving a eulogy at her funeral and reminiscing on all of the ways Sera has been helping her throughout the relationship, it concludes with Reyna returning home and grieving in the shower, bringing her phobia and relationship to a dramatic and somber finish.
This short film will be created by a team of eleven 2nd year students at Bath Spa University. Your funding will help us film in locations such as a local independent café in Bath, and help fund the props that we will be using in scenes, all props are then donated to the red cross after use as we have donation bins around campus. Funding will also help us have more flexibility with filming dates and help us create the film up to the standard we would like to achieve.
Any donation big or small is appreciated and any donator who leaves their name will be put in the credits of our short film. We can guarantee your donations will be used as our film will be made either way, we will be filming late March into early April this year. (Donations will be handled by the producer and distributed to the project, no donations can be kept for oneself as the University oversees this process)
