Rainbow: The Psychic Salon www.rainbow-Psychic.com ( Formerly known as Galaxy Goddess Temple Of Glam) needs your help! We are looking for donations and investments to fund the reopening of the storefront. We need to renew costly licenses, obtain decorations/merchandise, and promote our new brand!
The salon/spirit shop known as Galaxy Goddess Temple Of Glam is coming back and we are now known as Rainbow: The Psychic Salon!
Rainbow is a beauty salon, a place where soon you will be able to get a haircut/style, add any colors, buy custom dreadlocks, get fx-makeup done, learn or be healed by spiritual/shamanic modalities, find ethnobotanicals and healing herbs, and be able to find handcrafted and enchanted spiritual items (staves, wands, crystals, wire wrappings, handwritten customizable spellbooks or grimoires, enchanted candles, runes, etc.)
So whether its an extravagant new look, a spiritual awakening, or a simple cut we do it all! So why not make an appointment with our beautician and healer independently of prebook an appointment for our reopening.

Our name is Rainbow: The Psychic Salon(formerly ggtemleofglam) we are a salon and a spiritual healing center.
Our beauticians name is Alicia Nell Mitchell she is 33 years old, and lives in Chicago. She is very colorful, creative, fun-loving, eccentric, enthusiastic, outgoing, and talented. Anyone who knows her knows that she’s a ray of positive fun! She’s literally a walking rainbow in every sense of the word. A well rounded artist who brings to life art in full color on many spectrums and mediums.

What I Do:
I have been a professional make-up artist for over 10 years. I started doing make-up professionally in 2003 when I began to do stage make-up for theaters and haunted houses. In 2004 I moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue a career in film by attending the Los Angeles Film School. There I began to spread my talent. I was a directing major & production design minor, but because of my mad make-up skills I was constantly asked to do make-up, fx make-up, and hair for all the students short films, commercials, trailers, feature length films, etc.. In 2006 I moved back to Chicago to then attend cosmetology school. I attended Steven PapaGeorge Hair Academy where I was actually asked to teach the make-up classes. From there I began to do more professional make-up work such as personally being asked to do make-up for the 2008 Carmen Electra's Lingerie Fashion Show at Enclave, the 2008 Miss Romania USA Beauty Pageant broadcasted live, ABC News, 312 Magazine, Hair Today Magazine, Televised TV Commercials, and UV AirBrush Body Painting Photography featured at Burning Man. Since then I have gained good standing in the make-up world and I keep on getting better! I have extended experience doing make-up and hair for theaters, still photography, fashion shows, hair shows, festivals, beauty pageants, bridal, magazine spreads, television, and film sets. I have worked with all film formats including 16mm, 35mm, HD,and DV. I can do bridal, basic, beauty, professional, high fashion, glam, air brushing, corrective, character, special effects, prosthetics, cover-ups, sculpting, and mask making. I have worked on a variety of different movie genres including comedy, western, horror, drama, and action films. I also won 2 years in a row award for scariest costume/FX make-up at the Halloween Parade on Halsted and Clark in October. I have been a FX Make-Up Manager at St. Benedict Haunt, Fear at Navy Pier Haunted House, Statesville Haunted Prison Haunted House, Dark Summit Haunted House, and now Asylum Xperiment Haunted House.
I also have begun a Production Design career by being the production design manager at Dark Summit Haunted House and now have been specializing in Tension Fabric Decorations for the psychedelic psytrance scene. I have been wanting to bring what I feel is a vision of the future to the community at large.

What no one knows about me is that I am also a seamstress, fabricator, and jewlery maker.
My Future Goals:
I am a walking rainbow, and I want to bring the full spectra of beauty to the world. I want people to feel like they can be just as, if not more, beautiful than any celebrity for a fraction of the price. I want to bring my futuristic styles to the people. I can offer many different looks that no other salon can achieve, in an environment unlike any other professional space. I also plan on re-launching my YouTube channel and giving the entire world a chance to experience my creations. I want the world to have the chance to experience a show like they've never seen before, all while being pampered with surprise and delight. I am building Galaxy Goddess's TEMPLE of GLAM: a Make-Up & Hair Studio, with Fashion, Art, & Spiritual Stuff and I want you to be a part of it. My goal is to bring out the Goddess in all of you. *Now as many of you may know, I have gone to a LOT of festivals, bringing with me all the love and joy of childhood memories involved in jumping in a ballpit and playing around. I raised money for a rainbow ballpit over the summer so that you ALL could enjoy it. So as an added bonus, if you make the oh so wise decision to make this happen, I will personally set this up so that you, too can experience this joy all over again! Yes, you heard me right. if you donate, you get to play in it! It will become a permanent fixture in the Galaxy Goddess'TEMPLE of GLAM so that everyone involved can enjoy it!
