On behalf of the Rainbow Rooms in McAllen, Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen and Brownsville, Rainbow RGV Community Partners are asking for your minimum donation of $5. What can a minimum donation of $5 do?
Our Biggest Social Media account has 2700 followers. If 1/3 of those followers, 900 people donate a minimum of $5: 900 x $5 = $4,500!! Wow!!
The financial cost to care for each child that passes through the Rainbow Rooms averages out to $51*. So that works out to 88 children. Let’s round the numbers up to 100.

$5,100 is very doable. You don't have to stop at $5. Do what you can and let’s aim to help as many young people as possible.

The RGV Community Partners are a 501 c3 nonprofit operated by community volunteers in partnership with Texas Child Protective Services to protect and assist children and their family. National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Through this collaboration, prevention services and supports help protect children and produce thriving families.
