Rainbow refugee Crisis in the Camp (LGBTIQ)

There are 250+ LGBTQIA+ refugees who escaped from Uganda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Yemen, Afghanistan living in Kakuma refugees camp is located in the Northern part of Kenya 95km away from Nadapal Kenya–South Sudan border.

They are struggling to access clean water, food, and shelter. 

Their belongings often get stolen and they are suffering from a hostile homophobic environment with physical and sexual violence.

The new shelters would create safety for folx who are homeless within the camp and provide shelter and safety for mothers with new-borns.
