Rahab's Rope Mission Trip

Dear family, friends and supporters,
I have been given the opportunity to go on my very first mission trip from December 27, 2017 - January 6, 2018 to India with Rahab's Rope. For the longest time, God has pressed into my heart, the desire to share the gospel to the nations and He has finally opened that door. Rahab's Rope is an organization that fights Sex Trafficking in India. Sex Trafficking is an issue that I have read, researched and followed up on through various organizations both in the U.S. and abroad and have a passion for eradicating.
MILLIONS of women and children are victims of sex trafficking in India
“Sex trafficking is a form of modern slavery in which someone coerces or deceives another person into commercial sex exploitation for profit. Any child sold for sex is considered a victim of sex trafficking by nature of their age. Simply, it is sexual violence as a business. The nightmare of forced prostitution thrives when law enforcement cannot or does not protect vulnerable children and women.”

My hope for after I graduate from Moody Theological Seminary for a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, in a few years, is to do aftercare with survivors of Sex Trafficking. This mission trip will give me a glimpse of what Sex Trafficking looks like abroad and its impact in the lives of those affected by it.
What will I be doing?
Bangalore: (aftercare)
In Bangalore, I work with 3 different facilities that have women and children rescued out of trafficking: an aftercare home for women who have been arrested and rescued from prostitution, as well as an HIV/AIDS Hospice facility and a Children’s Home (all orphans).
How can you help?
