Hello Family and Friends,
On Behalf of Rafael Tirado and his family I would like to inform you that our long time friend Rafael Tirado has currently been diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). It's an inherited disorder he had all his life and was diagnosed with it on January of this year. It leads to kidney failure if left untreated in which clusters of cysts develop primarily on my kidneys causing my kidneys to enlarge and lose function over time. Cysts are noncancerous round sacs containing fluid, vary in size, and they can grow very large. Having this hidden disease overtime has brought my kidney functions down to about 10% -15%.
He is currently in the Hospital and in the process of going through Surgery to begin Dialysis treatment that will go on for the rest of his life till he can find a kidney transplant. We ask at this time for any donation of any amount that will help Rafael and his family with the Hospital Bills since his insurance has failed him and will not cover any of the costs. We also ask for prayers and love to come his way, a message on facebook or text goes a long way and would mean alot.
