Rafael medical expenses due to covid

Good afternoon, my name is Rafael Galo del Mazo, I have been working as a truck
driver for years covering all the United States on my routes. During the pandemic, since
my job requires transporting supplies, meals, among other things, it was almost
impossible for truckers to stop working. People count on our work to carry their work
A few weeks ago, specifically on November 3 2020, I was admitted to the hospital in
Texarkana Tx as an emergency while I was working. I had to stop my route to the South
of Texas and an ambulance pick me up and took me the hospital. I was admitted to the
hospital for respiratory problems, temperature, severe diarrhea and vomiting. After
several tests, I was detected positive for Covid-19.
I was hospitalized there until November 17 2020, even though I still felt very bad and my
lungs were congested, the doctors released me.
I returned to my house in Brownsville Tx, and spent 11 days in bed connected to an
oxygen tank, spending my little savings on filling the tank over and over again since it
only lasted 5 hours and it is impossible for me to breathe without the tank.
On November 29th 2020 my lungs collapsed and my heart rate dropped severely. Again
I was admitted to the hospital as an emergency and up until now I am still here, at
Valley Baptist Hospital.
After days of being isolated and resting at my house, the doctors tell me that I continue
to test positive for Covid-19 but now with more severe symptoms. Currently, I have a
very severe anemia, my lungs are very damaged, I also have severe respiratory
problems without being able to leave oxygen tank, and is all caused by Covid-19
pandemic.
I tell you my story because to this day I am still hospitalized, and now without work. I
would like to be considered for your financial aid, since I have too many debts in the
hospital and my family is counting on me to survive as Im their financial support and
unfortunately right now I cannot do anything to provide or work.

    Buenas tardes mi nombre es Rafael Galo del Mazo, llevo ya años trabajando como trailero abarcando todos los estados unidos en mis rutas. Durante la pandemia como mi trabajo requiere de transportar suministros , comidas entre otras cosas, nos fue casi imposible a los traileros dejar de trabajar. Las personas cuentan con nuestro trabajo para poder llevar el suyo acabo.
Hace unas semanas, específicamente el 3 de Noviembre 2020 fui admitido al hospital en Texarkana Tx en calidad de urgencias mientras trabajaba, Tuve que parar mi ruta hacia el sur de Texas y una ambulancia paso por mi en el camino para llevarme al hospital. Fui admitido al hospital por presentar problemas respiratorios, temperatura, diarrea severa y vomito. Después de varios análisis fui detectado positivo del Covid-19. Estuve internado ahi hasta el 17 de Noviembre 2020, a pesar de que me seguía sintiendo muy mal y mis pulmones estaban congestionados, los doctores me dieron de alta.
Regrese a mi casa en Brownsville Tx, y pase 11 días en cama conectado al oxigeno, gastando mis pocos ahorros en llenar el tanque una y otra vez ya que este solo me duraba 5 horas y me es imposible respirar sin el tanque.
El 29 de Noviembre 2020 mis pulmones se colapsan y mi ritmo cardiaco baja severamente. De nuevo soy admitido al hospital en calidad de urgencia y hasta el momento sigo internado aquí pero ahora en el Hospital Valley Baptist.
Después de días de mantenerme aislado y en reposo me dicen los doctores que sigo dando positivo al Covid-19 pero ahora con síntomas mas severos. Actualmente presento una anemia muy severa, mis pulmones se encuentran muy dañados, también tengo problemas respiratorios sin poder dejar el oxigeno, todo ocasionado por el Covid-19.
Les cuento mi historia porque al día de hoy sigo internado, y ahora sin trabajo. Me gustaría que me consideraran para una ayuda económica, ya que tengo demasiados gastos y deudas en el hospital y mi familia cuenta conmigo para subsistir ya que yo soy el pilar económico de la familia y lamentablemente ahorita no puedo hacer nada para poder proveer ni trabajar.
