Raelynn Fights Astrocytoma Brain Cancer

For the past month or so our baby Raelynn has been having some odd spasms, On the 29th we went to her doctor to see what was going on. We were told to go to the ER at Mott's Children’s Hospital. They did a VEEG on the 30th. Based on what they saw on that and in person they diagnosed her with infantile spasms (a seizure disorder in babies).
They then scheduled an MRI and lumbar puncture the 31st to determine the cause. They had to sedate her for that and ended up having to do a second MRI because they found a mass on the right side of her brain.
They started her on an anti-seizure medication and she is in the PICU until we can get an actual room. They are working with all the teams to figure out what the next step will be for her. Surgery is scheduled for today 8/3/20 to remove a piece of the mass for a biopsy. We are in complete shock at the moment, so all good thoughts, prayers, and vibes are greatly appreciated.
