Radical Employee Support Fund

Hi friends, 

Both my husband Tyler and I have worked in the service industry for a long time. More recently, we have both worked for a company called Radical Hospitality. If you’re from the Denton, TX area, you’ve probably heard of it. They are a company from Denton County that owns many popular local restaurants like LSA Burger Co., Barley & Board, Bongo Beaux's, and Earl’s Pizza. These restaurants are the heart of Denton County.

However, like most local places, COVID-19 hit “Radical” hard. I mean really hard - so much so that they were struggling to keep the doors open. By March 20th, hundreds of employees were suddenly let go as all restaurants shut down for the foreseeable future. 

In the end, 500+ employees were let go with no warning. 

That being said, there are now hundreds of previous employees that are in need right now. Many have filed for unemployment and are actively looking for jobs, but it’s really not enough. I am setting up this Donation Page for the employees of Radical Hospitality that were let go and are in need. Funds will be distributed equally among the previous employees who have reached out to us. Thankfully, Tyler and I are just fine. I am blessed to have a salary job and loads of support if we ever needed it. That being said, we will not accept any part of the donations.

**Update: When we reach our goal, we are going to be reaching out to the group chats and facebook pages of each concept with a link to a survey. The survey will ask which concept you worked for, your position, your phone number, and then your Venmo. We will be working with former managers to cross reference employment. Then we will distribute the money via Venmo evenly based on those who answered the survey.
