<div>Hej! Jag heter Emma! I tio år har jag arbetat med kultur; festivaler, konserter och platser där människor kan mötas och känna sig sedda. Men trots alla scener jag varit med och skapat har en sak saknats:

<div>Ett tryggt rum för oss queera, som finns kvar när musiken tystnat. En plats som lever mer än Pride-veckan, en vecka om året.

<div>För ett år sedan hörde jag talas om visionen om House of Q, ett kulturhus där ingen behöver be om ursäkt för vem man är. Där gemenskap, inkludering och närvaro är själva fundamentet. Ett hus som inte byggs för communityt, utan av och med communityt.

<div>När dörrarna öppnades i september var huset inte färdigt, det är det fortfarande inte.
</div>
<div>Men på bara några helger hände det som betyder mest:
</div>
<div>Människor kom.
</div>
<div>Konst fyllde väggar som ännu inte var klara.
</div>
<div>DJ:s spelade i rum som fortfarande luktade bygge.
</div>
<div>Panelsamtal, performances och spontana möten gjorde att något började ta form, inte ett event, inte en trailer, inte ett företag. Utan ett hem i vardagen.

<div>Och plötsligt stod allt på spel.
</div>
<div>House of Q behövs mer än någonsin.
</div>
<div>För världen har blivit hårdare, tystare och mer polariserad, samtidigt som behovet av trygga, kreativa mötesplatser bara växer.
</div>
<div>Idag är vi sex personer som bär huset med vår tid, kraft och kärlek. Vi gör det inte för att House of Q är vårt, utan för att det ska kunna vara allas, för fler att kliva in i, bidra till och hitta sin plats i.
</div>
<div>Det här uppropet är mitt initiativ. Min rädsla. Min kamp. Min lösning.
</div>
<div>För jag är rädd att förlora det vi precis börjat bygga, men ännu mer rädd att communityt återigen står utan en plats där man får finnas fullt ut.

<div>Hi! My name is Emma! For ten years I have worked with culture, festivals, concerts and places where people can meet and feel seen. But despite all the stages I’ve helped create, one thing has been missing:

<div>A safe space for us queer people, one that remains when the music has fallen silent. A place that lives beyond Pride Week, one week a year.

<div>A year ago, I heard about the vision of House of Q, a cultural house where no one has to apologize for who they are. Where community, inclusion and presence are the very foundation. A house not built for the community, but by and with the community.

<div>When the doors opened in September, the house wasn’t finished, and it still isn’t.
</div>
<div>But in just a few weekends, what matters most happened:
</div>
<div>People came.
</div>
<div>Art filled walls that weren’t yet complete.
</div>
<div>DJ’s played in rooms that still smelled of construction.
</div>
<div>Panel talks, performances and spontaneous encounters made something begin to take shape, not an event, not a trailer, not a company. But a home in everyday life.
</div>

<div>And suddenly, everything was at stake.
</div>
<div>House of Q is needed more than ever.
</div>
<div>Because the world has grown harsher, quieter and more polarized, while the need for safe, creative meeting places only continues to grow.
</div>

<div>Today, we are six people carrying the house with our time, strength and love. We don’t do it because House of Q is ours, but so that it can be everyone’s, for more people to step into, contribute to and find their place in.
</div>

<div>This call is my initiative. My fear. My fight. My solution.
</div>
<div>Because I am afraid of losing what we have only just begun to build, but even more afraid that the community will once again be left without a place where one is allowed to exist fully.
</div>
