Racquel's Recovery

On August 22nd,  Racquel was at work when she was rushed to the emergency room. She had suddenly become very sick and was having a lot of pain in her neck and head. After some testing,  it was discovered that she had a blood clot in the base of her brain.  There is an infarction in her cerebellum which is causing left-sided weakness. She is now on a Neuro floor at St. Anthony's Hospital after being in the ICU for 3 days. Racquel is an amazingly strong single mom to four children who will, unfortunately, have a long road to recovery.  Racquel has quickly become a  close friend and is a very important member of our team at Denver Eye Surgeons. We hope for her to be able to heal without the added stress of worrying about bills. Anything to help her out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jamie Bouwman and Jessie Curtiss
