Racing for Amber

Alex Brundle, Luciano Bacheta, Will Palmer, Nic Hamilton, Dan Rozwadowski will be racing in the Daytona 25 hour kart race in Milton Keynes, starting on the 30th April 2016.
We are racing for a little girl called Amber Regan, who was born with no heartbeat and had her life support machine turned off shortly after birth, despite this she survived against all odds and was instantly dubbed a miracle child. All funds raised will be to help pay for Amber's physio treatment as described below.

Fast forward three and a half years and Amber is turning 4 next week,a milestone in itself.
Amber has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy,epilepsy,vision and hearing problems and global development delay; She is non verbal,non mobile and needs continuous 24hour care. She can't reach for toys to play with, hold a spoon to feed herself, play with her baby sister or even be left on her own at all.
On a regular hospital visit, Amber's left hip was identified as being dislocated due to the lack of movement and standing. In May, a 7 hour operation was carried out. In addition, She has Botox regularly in her legs to reduce this stiffness along with a required 30-40 minutes daily exercise and stretches.
We discovered "Kids Physio Works " in Colchester only a couple of weeks ago, where they treat children with cerebral palsy. They Have different bodysuits and aids that help strengthen every muscle in Amber's body. Society takes it for granted that children will automatically reach their milestones, we can only pray for Amber to reach her "inchstones".
Our dream is for Amber to have a good quality of life and to try and limit the amount of operations and hospital appointments - she had 198 Nhs appointments with specialists last year alone! TO do this she needs to have constant Physio care to maintain a full range of movement,with the help of Kids Physio Works, we can give Amber the best support and help possible to achieve this.
