Rachel's Fund to Beat Breast Cancer

On October 4th, 2017, Rachel was diagnosed with breast cancer. The following month, Rachel had the lump removed. She took 40 days to pray and did a lot of research and felt that God wanted her to make major lifestyles changes as opposed to having chemo and radiation. After twenty years of Christian charity work, she took the brave move of stepping back from busyness and to relook at how she was dealing with stress, made significant changes to her diet, and started a regime of integrated therapies and taking herbs.
Over the past few years, Rachel's health and healing has been day by day. She continues to walk that journey. Just over a year ago, that journey took on a new level, where the family made the decision to allow Rachel to set more and more time aside to study the Word, study what it says about healing, and devote herself more and more to prayer. From that place, Rachel is finding herself also reaching out to others in similar situations to encourage and bring healing to their own lives.
Her husband, James, has also limited himself with his work load in order to be able to her and help the kids to create a "healing environment." The whole family is making major lifestyle changes as well!
We are so thankful for those who have stood with us in prayer and given to us financially!
For over twenty years, Rachel has had the dream of attending Bible School. For different reasons, this never materialized, but through this, and with all the studying that she was doing, felt now was the time to pursue that dream. After attending a few healing conferences at Charis Bible College campuses, one in England and one in Belfast, in early in 2020, she enrolled in Charis Bible College, based out of Colorado Springs, and is in the process of doing the first year online. As of the end of 2020, she is nearly half way through! She continues to learn, grow as a person, and learn about healing from the Word of God! It will have costed approximately $4000 when she finishes her first year. We have seen amazing miracles to help us get this far in this process.
Her dream is to finish, walk in the fullness of her healing, and minister to others out of her own personal experience.
Rachel has it on her heart to finish Bible College. It is a two year college certificate course, with a third year option to specialize in a particular area of ministry. To do a second year, she will have to attend a Charis Bible College campus. We have friends who did this by taking weekend courses at the Belfast Campus. We are still praying about "where" and "how" and "when" we would facilitate this next step for her. It will be another 6 month before she finishes her first year.
We continue to fix our eyes on Jesus as Rachel's Healer. We continue to eat healthy and juice with occasional supplements. Our primary focus in on knowing God more and who He is as Healer!
We would appreciate anyone who feels to continue or to start to stand with us financially, giving towards Rachel's dream of finishing Bible College, which could run anywhere between $10,000 to $15,000, depending on whether she finishes her third year...which she is planning to do! Amen!
