Dear Friends & Family,
UPDATE 12/28/12.
After months of treatment, my osteomyelitis has not gone away. I'll be going back to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN this January. I am praying this will be my last visit and they will find the root of the problem. The Mayo staff has already prepped me to expect more surgery, as well as, additional treatment options.
They will also be removing a nodule from my vocal chord so that I can see again.
I'm scheduled to see a maxillofacial surgeon, dermatologist, ENT, and internal medicine doctors thus far. We'll keep you updated as things progress.

Even through these very trying times, I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

Dear Friends & Family,
UPDATE October 2012.
This is an update to my donation website. Thank you so much for helping me this far it has been a true blessing. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a bone disease osteomyelitis. Including step, staph, and fungal infection. I am on IV meds here at home now for 6 weeks and another antibiotic for 6 months. In-between I have to get more MRI's go to the maxillo-facial, infectious disease doctor, infusion center, pain management, and theraphy for overcoming this horrible infection that has taken over my body. But being who I am it has not taken over my soul, mind, or heart.

This is a website designed to help Rachelle overcome her illness and get back into fashion. She has been sick & out of work since December 2011 with many problems. She has had several rashes, including multiple Lupus rashes. Another rash that took over her body was a viral one called, Pityriasis Rosea. She also has an Autoimmune Disorder called Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disorder, which is a mixture of Sjogren's Syndrome and Lupus.
As if that were not enough to handle mentally and physically, she has also formed chronic swelling in her jaw. There is speculation that she may have a Jaw Bone Infection. After many CAT Scans and MRI's, the last ailment that has been discovered is a rare formation in her Lungs.
We go to the doctor more than once a week. Next week we are finally traveling to Rochester, MN, in the quest to find some concrete answers from the Mayo Clinic.
If Rachelle hasn't seemed herself lately, she isn't distant...she's just going through a lot. She loves the text messages and visits from all of her loved ones. She loves you all dearly and misses her fabulous career as a Rock Star fashion designer. She prays that she will become better than ever in every facet of her life...as a legendary designer, friend, wife, daughter, sister, and mentor.
