Rachel Runs for PS15

I work as a speech therapist at PS15 Roberto Clemente, an elementary school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Many of the children I work with come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. The NYC Department of Education does not provide adequate funding for necessary educational materials or programs. This inadequacy coupled with the students' difficult home lives makes it nearly impossible for our students to attain their maximum potential.

As you may have heard, I am running in the TCS New York City Marathon on November 4, 2018. I would like to dedicate my run to the students at my school. It is my hope to raise $5,000 to supplement our school's budget in order to better serve our students' educational needs.
