Rachel Proulx and Family

October 12, 2020 Rachel was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.  At only 30 years old, you can imagine the shock and sadness she and her family have gone through.  Luckily, she has a huge support system backing her up.  Her family, friends and coworkers have been nothing but supportive and showing her all the love she deserves, and we thank you for that.

Rachel has already started her first round of chemotherapy and will soon be starting her second round.  By spring time, the chemotherapy should be completed and she will then go through with a double mastectomy to reduce the risk of cancer in the future.  

With that, comes the medical bills.  She is not even halfway through chemo and the bills are arriving in the mail.  Due to Covid-19 and the doctors recommendations, she has not been able to work as she would like.  She tries to help out with what work she can do from home, but its not enough.  Her husband, Jim, is a seasonal worker and is anxiously awaiting the snow so that he is able to go back to work.

For those that might not know, Rachel is the type of person that would do anything for her family without ever showing that she is struggling.  It's our turn to help her.  We ask, if you are able in this trying time, to donate.  Anything helps.  Donations will go directly to medical bills, groceries and household bills.  She and her family would be forever grateful.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she heals, recovers and awaits a healthy future.
