Rachel Lovekamp Children's Fund

Rachel Lovekamp left behind 3 children; a son, Gunnar - 11 years old and two daughters, Lexi - 8 years old and Lydia - 5 years old.  There was no life insurance.  She had been ill off and on for a couple of years, although the family was ever given any reason to believe any of her illnesses would turn out to be life-threatening.  She unexpectedly left this world on  Thursday, March 29th at the young age of 35.  Her husband, Cory will be needing various types of help as he continues to raise these beautiful children alone.  Family and friends are stepping in to do everything possible. 

Rachel was such a loving person.  She was an RN and worked in labor and delivery for several years.  When the unit in a small town hospital that she worked for shut down, she moved into providing Home Health Care  services.  She loved being able to help others.

Her family meant everything to her.  She loved  being involved with the kids, their sporting and school events.  She looked forward to family get-togethers and  was always the life of the party. 

The emptiness she leaves in all of our hearts is indescribable.  A friend said "She had a heart of gold and left glitter everywhere she went".  That is the most accurate description of her I have heard.

We wanted to provide a place for anyone wanting to help financially, to be able to do so easily.  All donations will be used to help provide for the children.  Thank you for your kindness.
